When I'm in a hurry, I call my order in and pick it up. Other times I eat there. They have really good pork bbq sandwiches and cakes. I recently tried their banana pudding. It had been too long since I'd had homemade banana pudding. It is delicious. The next time I called in 2 orders of banana pudding, both for me. The employees are always nice but they sure stay busy. I could eat a couple of orders of the pudding right now if I had it. Looking forward to going back.
Ok get it started with what I ordered. There called the jumbo ribs what they were enormous I'll tell you that. They were delicious l, mouth watering and just the right amount of barbecue sauce. second there baked beans were very very delicious as well strongly recommend them to any baked bean lover's. Last but not least was there coleslaw which I was Not to fondle about it. Gonna b honest about it and here it goes it's just tasteless, plain could of used more taste. But that's My opinion, other may beg a defer. Other than that I will come back when ever I'm in town delivering. Two thumbs up. Strongly recommend it to everyone
Had to layover in New Albany after unloading at Walmart Saturday and my wife and I didn't want truck stop food so I walked across the street and got us 2 rib plates and some dessert and let me tell you something, everything was delicious. The sauce was perfect and the ribs were very tender. We will be back to check out other things on the menu. Guy Fieri would love their cooking
We were there in November to pickup cakes for a wedding. I bought a pecan, coconut, and chocolate pie. I ask if they could be frozen you told me you didn't know how meringue would be after frozen. The coconut and chocolate were still great. Meringue was still good. So if anyone ask you they can be frozen. Love your cakes and pies. I buy my cakes at piggly wiggly in olive Branch. I have a question too. If I place an order for pies is there any way when you all are coming to OB I could meet you and pickup my pies and cakes. You could charge them when I place the order. I would love to have some pies in freezer like I do my cakes. I always have 2 red velvet and 1 strawberry or caramel in my freezer. Thank you
I love, love, LOVE this restaurant! Looking at it, or driving past, you wouldn't immediately think it's all that much (I didn't realize it was a restaurant for the longest time), but the food is amazing, the cakes are to die for! The staff is polite, which is an incredible bonus. The interior is like a comfortable cafeteria. Kids love the train that usually runs throughout the restaurant, near the ceiling. Family friendly, nice and clean. :) It's more pricey than McDonald's (that's a given), but I was surprised at just how reasonably priced it is. Not what I was expecting, and you actually get what you pay for! On that note, as for the people saying it's 30-50 per person: I've never come anywhere near that much. I've bought lunch for me and a friend multiple times, and it's under 20 for both of us together. As it is anywhere, it depends on what you order. I've never paid more than 20 there. Every visit is A! Can't wait to go back!
Had the pineapple cake family from Memphis brought up as a hostess gift to us here in Newbern, TN. A slice of HEAVEN! God blessed the hands that makes those cake. Divine! (purchased at Bogie’s in Memphis.
The strawberry cake takes the cake (no pun intended). Amazing, just as good as Sugarees', maybe better.
Really enjoyed eating here. You go in order your food at the front and then they will bring your food to the table. Would recommend the cheese plate. It was very enjoyable and had enough on it to be a meal by itself. The atmosphere was great, and the train going around and around the entire building was very entertaining to my kids. Especially my one year old. He kept saying pig because they had a stuffed pig riding on one of the box cars. The food came out fast and fresh. They have a different array of BBQ sauces for you to try as well. I got the Philly Cheesesteak because we had BBQ the day before, so I wanted to try something else, and it didn't disappoint, and the fries were cripsy as well. Then, if you're not full enough from all that food, you must try the pineapple cake. It was amazingly good. Definitely will be going back
